Little did I know, a single moment at a conference would spark a journey that would redefine my purpose and passion to become a keynote speaker.
In the early ‘90s, I was a Financial Advisor attending a conference with 5,000 other attendees. The air buzzed with anticipation as speakers took the stage. Each one brought their own expertise to the table. But it was Charlie Plumb, an Inspirational – Overcoming Speaker, who left an indelible mark on my soul.
Charlie wasn’t from the finance industry, yet his story resonated with everyone in the room. He shared his journey of triumph against adversity. His unwavering resilience in the face of challenges, and his ability to inspire hope in others – it was like watching magic unfold before my eyes. As I sat there, I felt a stirring deep within me.

In 2022, I took a leap of faith and embarked on a new adventure – one that would see me trading in my role as a Financial Advisor for that of an Inspirational, Keynote Speaker. It was a decision fueled by a desire to inspire and make a difference in people’s lives, to bring my own life principles of Vision, Mindset, and Grit to life on the speaking circuit.
My journey serves as a reminder that sometimes the most transformative moments come when we least expect them, even at a conference you happened to attend for your job. Remember that by following our hearts and embracing our passions, we can truly change the world – one story at a time.
